Your information

Privacy policy

Short version: we only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and play your event, we don’t sell it, we use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time. Last updated 11 August 2026.

01What we collect

Only what you give us: your name, email address, mobile number, and the event details you enter in the enquiry form — event type, date, venue or suburb, guest numbers and the music styles you like. If you email, call or DM us instead, we hold whatever is in that message.

We do not ask for, or want, payment card details through this website.

02How the enquiry form works

This website has no database and stores nothing itself. When you press send, your brief is passed through a third-party form-delivery service (FormSubmit) which emails it straight to our inbox. Your details then live in our email account, the same as if you had emailed us directly.

If you would rather not use the form, email or phone us using the details below — that works exactly as well.

03Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, quote and confirm a booking, plan your event, and contact you about your booking. If you become a client we may occasionally get in touch about your event or ask whether you’d be happy to leave a review. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we don’t send bulk marketing.

04Who else sees it

Only the people who need to: our form-delivery and email providers, and — where relevant to your event — your venue or another supplier, and only with your knowledge. Some of these providers store data overseas.

05Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and which links get used. It helps us improve the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data on Google’s servers, including overseas.

We do not run advertising or social-media tracking pixels, and we don’t use analytics data to identify you personally. You can opt out at any time using Google’s opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser — the site works fine either way.

Embedded content from Instagram and SoundCloud may set its own cookies when you interact with it, under those companies’ own privacy policies.

06How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t become bookings are kept only as long as useful, then deleted. Booking records are kept while needed for the event and afterwards for tax and record keeping, as Australian law requires.

07Photos and video at your event

We sometimes take short clips or photos at events for our social media and website. If you’d prefer we didn’t, tell us and we won’t — and if something is already posted, ask and we’ll remove it.

08Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email xavish.dj@gmail.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time, normally 30 days.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, tell us first so we can fix it. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

09Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including password-protected accounts and reputable providers. No online service is perfectly secure, so please don’t send us sensitive information such as card or identity details.
